Dairy Flat Farm by Lake House

Dairy Flat Farm by Lake House is a regenerative growing facility on almost 40 acres, just outside of Daylesford. The property was purchased in 2018 by the Wolf-Taskers after a period of neglect. The years since have seen a wonderous transformation in both the quality of soil and the established gardens. Originally established to provide much of the raw ingredients needed for the award winning 2 chef hat kitchen at Lake House, Daylesford.

Since opening in 2019 it has expended to include not only the 6 acres of productive farm gardens but also olive grove, orchard, medicinal herb and flower garden, vineyard of chardonnay and pinot grapes, bee hives, ornamental gardens, a sourdough bake house which focuses on slow fermentation and associated viennoiserie as well as a serviced 6 suite Lodge.

Products: Slow Fermented sourdough loaves, baguettes and associated viennoiserie, olive oil & marinated olives, jams, jellies, relishes and pantry items, wine & cider,  honey and more which are available online and for sale at Wombat Hill House and Lake House Daylesford. The daily bake from the bake house sells out quickly at the Sunday Market in Daylesford also.

Fruit from the orchard, spray free vegetables, herbs and flowers from the regenerative farm gardens, honey and honeycomb from the hives is produced mostly for use at Lake House and Wombat Hill House, although windfalls in season may appear at the Daylesford Sunday Market.
